![]() Excited that my short lyric essay "Forgotten Cities" has been accepted by The Café Irreal, where it will come out on August 1. I reread Invisible Cities when I was working on a flash by Hart L'Ecuyer for CRAFT that was dedicated to Italo Calvino, and was struck by what I'd underlined when I read it in my twenties, and inspired to think about the workings of memory and my past selves and past cities. This was just the second magazine I sent "Forgotten Cities" to. I published a micro in The Café Irreal a long time ago, and have always loved their brand of surrealism ("irrealism"). They're well established, very international, and have been online since 1998. Comments are closed.
