forgotten women anthology with my poem is here!

Just got my copy of FORGOTTEN WOMEN: A TRIBUTE IN POETRY, edited by Ginny Lowe Connors, Introduction by the well-known feminist scholar Marilyn Kallet (Grayson Books).
 
I’m thrilled to have my poem “Practicing Self Reliance” in this anthology (a poem about the forgotten women surrounding the nineteenth-century New England Transcendentalists), along with poems by Rita Dove, Judy Grahn, Maria Mazziotti Gillan, Ted Kooser, Alison Townsend, Kathleen McClung, and many others.
 
Kathleen has organized a launch reading in San Francisco for Bay Area poets in the anthology that will take place on April 27. I’ll share details when we get closer to the event.
 
(That I’m not exactly a poet makes this publication even more exciting.)
